MIDAS MANAGERS GET DOWN AND DIRTY

A team of Midas employees from the Taunton office are celebrating after completing the Royal Marines Commando Challenge and raising £450 for charity.

The seven-strong team, consisting of construction managers, surveyors and operatives, completed the three mile cross country course in Exeter in 49 minutes. This placed them in 21st place in the male category out of a total of 57 teams.

Matt Shaw, Management Trainee for Midas, said: "This was a tough challenge that involved grit and determination. The course itself involved many obstacles, including tunnels, bogs, underground water pipes, running and lots of mud!"

A total of £450 was raised for the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children & Donkeys, the Gemini Radio Charitable Trust and Dream-A-Way.
