Lancelot Road

Lancelot Road, Exeter

Project: The development in Lancelot Road in the Beacon Heath area of Exeter is a small step in the right direction to answering the need for affordable housing in Exeter.

Lancelot Road is a small development being delivered by Magna Housing Association, Exeter City Council and Mi-space. The scheme itself is made up of five flats and one three bedroom family home. The development is built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, in the middle of an existing community on a piece of steep, once derelict land.

Dillies Baldwin, Head of Social Inclusion at Exeter City Council, said:

"I have been encouraging the development of these small city infill sites by Housing Associations for some years now. This particular project built by Mi-space will help alleviate the waiting list for housing in Exeter which currently stands at approximately 6,000 households."
