Double success for Mi–space at LABC Awards

Mi-space, the affordable housing business of the Midas Group is celebrating winning two significant awards in the South West LABC Building Excellence Awards for the Building Control Services in Somerset West.
The business was recognized for its work on Holyoake Street, Wellington in Somerset winning both the Best Social/Affordable Housing Development and Best large Development for its high standard of workmanship and construction.
The £3.7 million project was undertaken on behalf of Charter SW Ltd, part of Magna Housing Association, and involved the construction of 36 apartments and a meeting room.
Steve Bradley, Mi-space Area Manager for the South West commented: "We were delighted to have won these awards particularly as the judges singled out both the quality of our workmanship and the exceptional level of site management we achieved."
Mi-space was also a finalist in the Best Project Partnership for Holyoake Street, the Best Social/Affordable Housing Development for projects at Townsend Court, Townsend Williton and Waverdine Court, Stogumber, both near Taunton in Somerset.
